Sneaking In Through The Back Door

Rep. Honda Bill: Overseas LGBT ‘Partner’ Would Be ‘Spouse’ for Immigration

Rife with the potential for massive abuse much? Mail order sex slaves? “Spouse” to the highest bidder? How many “spouses” do they get, since bill only “assumes” gay marriage / permanent partnership will be formed. What if our gayboy doesn’t live in a gay marriage state? And who foots the bills?? Any provision for a tracking system (of course not!!) or even a counter (as if)?

Representative Mike Honda (D-Calif.) reintroduced the Reuniting Families Act (RFA) with added language that would allow homosexuals in the United States to petition to bring their “spouse” here from countries that do not allow same-sex marriage.

Even though the two persons are not legally married, the bill would allow the homosexual partner abroad to be labeled a “spouse” for immigration purposes to expedite the process. The bill defines the relationship as a “permanent partnership.”

At a press conference on Capitol Hill, CNSNews.com asked Representative Honda how the bill provides a way to recognize as a “spouse” someone in another country, if the two partners, or couple are not married.
...
The RFA defines a “permanent partner” as an individual 18 years of age or older “in a committed, intimate relationship with another individual 18 years of age or older in which both parties intend a lifelong commitment.”

“Permanent partnership” is defined as “the relationship that exists between two permanent partners.”

“In most of the world, same-sex permanent partners do not have access to marriage equality,” Aaron Morris, executive director of Immigration Equality, said in a statement distributed at the press conference.

“The Reuniting Families Act provides these loving, committed couples the ability to stay together just like every other immigrant family,” said Morris.

At the press conference Morris said that a transgender man from Egypt was given asylum in the United States but had to leave his “wife” behind six years ago.

Right. So now, not only do we take the unusually aligned and gendered as refugees, this guy wants to open the floodgates to bring in their friends and fornicators. Partners. Assumed partners. Who intend a lifelong commitment. Oopsie, plans changed, we broke up!

What’s next, a bill from ASPCA Rainbow to bring in all the sore ass sheep and goats around the Middle East? Don’t they qualify as emotional support service animals now? Gotta bring them in too, right???  We have lost our minds.

some of us are just not sophisticated

Did any of you folks know none of us are “sophisticated” ?
Hold on … not sophisticated by the newer (lower?) standards of our modern world.

Not that I ever set out to be or gave it any thought before yesterday, when I heard a news brief on the radio.  Or maybe I read it but I know I have the facts either way.

image

The very un pc mayor of Venice, Italy, reportedly said he does not want to see a gay pride parade taking place in his city.  Not now, not ever.  Not as long as he is in charge.
In an interview he told a reporter that gay pride marches were the “height of kitsch” adding, “There will never be a gay pride march in my city”.

Well, that’s when I found out I had no sophistication what so ever.
And I have a feeling it could apply to bmews readers also.
If we’re using the newer and much lower standards of our world today.

A “rights” group in Italy who hold gay pride parades in Italian cities, said the mayor has besmirched Venice’s reputation as an open and sophisticated society.

Our home was Palm Desert, which is a stones throw from Palm Springs, and some years ago when wife and I attended a seminar on the stock market at one of the hotels.

Bad timing for sure.  I had never seen one in the flesh right there before me eyes.
Closest I came to one their events, was on the nightly news, but not the event itself, live and in embarrassing colour.

Freaks on parade.  And that’s supposed to be, sophistication.

I never thought the world wouldn’t change over time.  But if that’s sophisticated
then we need a newer and more up to date word, to mean what our sense of sophisticated is.

And we really should take back the ‘G’ word that side has word jacked.

this gets complicated. but it’s where our world is today. no worries tho, it’ll get worse.

The world today.
Sure is different from the one I grew up in.

Words really do fail me here.
Except to say ... I feel sorry for any child brought up in that sort of unnatural mess.  Like the Elton John love nest.  How do you explain to a kid when other kids make comments as they will, that one of these two men is mommy.

Revealed: The bizarre family tree at the heart of an extraordinary court battle over one little girl - involving two lesbian mothers, a gay sperm donor and a transsexual lover now living with a man

· Girl is the biological child of lesbian woman and gay sperm donor
· They see her occasionally and she lives with mother’s lesbian ex
· The step-mother’s former partner, a transsexual, wants contact with girl
· But judge rules said that another effective parent would risk harm

By Vanessa Allen for the Daily Mail

A transexual man went to court yesterday for the right to contact the child of his former lesbian partner.
He brought the civil case despite having no biological connection with the nine-year-old girl.
Identified only as Alice, she was born to two lesbians who used donor sperm from a man also in a same-sex relationship.

image

The couple – known as Rachel and Helen – split up when she was three. Rachel, who was Alice’s natural mother, was sectioned with schizophrenia and Helen entered a relationship with Matthew, the man who has brought the case.

When he met Helen he was a woman having treatment to live as a man.

They were together for four years – Alice living with them – and he claims she called him ‘daddy’ and he became her effective stepfather.
They split up in 2013 and Matthew has had no contact with Alice, who has been diagnosed with autism, for almost a year.

Having completed his gender reassignment, Matthew asked the Family Court to allow him to apply for an order for contact with Alice.

His request was opposed by both Helen and Rachel, who said Alice had started to call herself Daniel and claim she was a boy while living with
Matthew.

Helen was said to be very concerned that he encouraged Alice to wear boys’ clothes and told her to avoid playing with ‘gender appropriate toys’.
She told the court in London that Matthew had been ‘controlling and verbally and mentally abusive’ during their relationship, and that his testosterone treatment had made him aggressive.

Helen, who suffers from a personality disorder and has limited mobility, said she did not want Alice to stay overnight at the home of Matthew and his new partner, James.

Rachel, who had been Helen’s civil partner, said Alice already had contact with both her mothers and her biological father, the gay sperm donor.
In a statement to the court, Rachel, who is now living in the community in supported accommodation, said: ‘It is time to put the dangerous drama of the past behind her once and for all. She must be allowed to simply settle down. She has all that she needs.’

Matthew, who also has psychiatric problems, said Alice knew he used to be a woman but had only known him as a man.

His sex change had been explained to her ‘in an age-appropriate way’, the court was told. Matthew denied that he had encouraged her to call herself Daniel or say she was a boy.

He said he had played a central role in helping to raise her.

Deputy High Court Judge Clifford Bellamy said Matthew had applied to the court for permission to ask for an order for contact with Alice.
The judge said he accepted that Matthew may have become a ‘social and psychological parent’ to Alice but said his contact application could be ‘potentially damaging’ for an autistic child.

Such an order would require months of psychiatric assessments, social services reports and court hearings and would be stressful for the family, he said.

The judge refused Matthew’s contact request, saying: ‘There is a risk of Matthew’s application disrupting Alice’s life to such an extent that she would be harmed by it.

‘Alice’s story is an example of the different ways in which modern family life is formed. Modern family life can be complicated.’
None of the family can be identified for legal reasons and the judge said he had changed the names of everyone involved to protect Alice’s anonymity.

too funny

1988 Olympic Decathlon Gold Medal Winner Bruce Jenner, working towards gender realignment, the guy the LGBTXYZ crowd had hoped to make their ultimate poster child.

He gave a big interview to Diane Sawyer. And he came out.

As a REPUBLICAN CHRISTIAN.

“Of course I’m a Republican”, Bruce told her, “I believe in the Constitution.”

Diane physically recoiled to that remark. And the left instantly lost their proto-hero. Now they have to figure out how to hate on him without touching the trip wires. Hey I know, he must be rayciss ... after supporting every one of his natural and adoptive daughters going over to black guys.  D’oh!!!

A bit more at Weasel Zippers.

And isn’t the implication of the inverse of his statement just wonderful?

homosexual relationships to be promoted in schools as positive says union

So what happens if mom and dad tell their kid to ignore what the school says and undoes what the school will teach?
Jail?  If this does become the rule, I can see lots of parents being dragged into court. Maybe fined?

The National Union of Teachers (NUT), I didn’t make up the nut part but they are that ok.

This should be quite interesting I think. Because they are going to try and push for this in muslim schools as well.
Oh boy. Not too sure I wanna see the results of that.  Mayhem I would bet.

Christine Blower, picture below, National Union of Teachers General Secretary, has called for a ‘positive portrayal of same sex relationships’ in lessons to be made ‘compulsory’ under the next government

Schools should be forced to promote gay relationships in sex education lessons, union leaders say.

By Eleanor Harding and Steve Doughty For Daily Mail

The National Union of Teachers has called for a ‘positive portrayal of same sex relationships’ in lessons to be made ‘compulsory’ under the next government.
image
It said MPs had a duty to tackle ‘homophobia, biphobia and transphobia’ in schools and create a ‘positive climate of understanding about sexuality’.

But critics accused the NUT of ‘thought control’ and said the ‘intolerant’ proposals risked ‘oversexualising’ children at a young age.

Meanwhile, Christian groups warned it would compel teachers at faith schools to act against their beliefs.

However, the union said the changes were needed to tackle prejudice which was ‘still strongly prevalent in our schools’.

Simon Calvert of the Christian Institute said: ‘This motion is itself an act of intolerance towards mainstream Christians and their beliefs. It would force Christian teachers to have to choose between their faith and their job.

‘I wonder whether Christian members of the NUT who have paid their dues can expect any help from the NUT when their jobs are on the line.’

He added that Church schools already teach ‘love and tolerance’ of others without having to explicitly approve of same sex relationships.

The proposal was contained in a motion on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights passed by the NUT at its annual conference in Harrogate yesterday.

It stated: ‘Conference instructs the executive to call upon the present and future government to … make it compulsory that all schools’ sex education policies include a positive portrayal of same sex relationships.’

The NUT said only 10 per cent of LGBT teachers felt confident to be ‘out’ to students.

The law would also see teachers at Muslim and Jewish schools compelled to promote gay marriage and other issues that go against their beliefs.

The proposal comes amid a row over the government’s new requirement for schools to teach ‘fundamental British values’, which include tolerance of other faiths and lifestyles.

Sex and relationships education is mandatory for pupils at council-run secondary schools. It is also compulsory for children aged between five and 14 at council-run schools to learn about sex as part of the science curriculum.

brussels court outlaws checks on gay asylum seekers or those who claim to be

So again the euro court can decide for all the countries how it should be.
Thing is, there have been so many trying to get onto this island, that any old guise will be tried and often works.  There have been countless numbers claiming they were queer and would suffer persecution if not death itself, if returned to their turd world countries.  How does one prove that in a court?  So often, too often, many are allowed to stay their word being taken as probably true.

Never mind for a minute the issue of same sex.  There have been actual ministers performing fake marriages because they believe anyone claiming they’ll receive bad treatment for any reason in the home country, has a human right to stay here.

The biggest problem is the idea that all member states must allow free travel among countries who are EU members.  Well, what about ppl seeking asylum who are not from EU countries.  In that case, Human Rights as seen by euro courts trump safe borders and national sovereignty.  There’s an election coming up soon.  All sorts of speeches and promises.  You know. The usual BS , and then back to business as usual.

EU Court of Justice outlaws ‘gay tests’ for asylum seekers claiming asylum on basis of homosexuality

By Europe correspondent Barbara Miller and wires

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled refugees claiming asylum on the basis of their homosexuality should no longer be subjected to tests to prove it.

The case follows controversy in recent years in the European Union over instances where asylum seekers were subjected to arousal tests or faced detailed questioning about their sexual behaviour.

The case was brought on behalf of three men whose asylum claims in the Netherlands were rejected on the basis that their assertions that they were gay, and would therefore face persecution if returned to their home countries, could not be proved.

The court ruled that while questioning asylum seekers about their sexual orientation was acceptable, questioning them about their sexual practices was not.

In the Dutch case, a court at the time said any attempt to verify the applicants’ homosexuality would likely violate the EU’s charter for fundamental rights, but referred the case to the ECJ to be sure.

The ECJ said interviews to determine “facts and circumstances” about the applicants’ declared sexuality were allowed.
But it stressed that questions about “sexual practices” breached their human rights.

Finally, the court ruled against what it said were offers by some applicants for “submission to possible ‘tests’ in order to demonstrate their homosexuality or even the production by those applicants of evidence such as films of their intimate acts”.

“The court makes clear that, besides the fact that such evidence does not necessarily have probative value, such evidence would of its nature infringe human dignity,” it said.

The ECJ added that it might also encourage other applicants to do the same, setting an illegal precedent.

national coming out day and we all missed it. who knew? and what a coincidence this happened Sat.

A year or two ago you may recall a story about an older couple who ran a B&B and refused to give rooms to unmarried couples. In that case the couple were of the odd variety and so not surprisingly they made a federal case of it. Stonewall involved. Of course they were.  Water under the news bridge now. The couple subject to all sorts of the abuse you’d expect of scum and a fine and near financial ruin plus, the old boy was also sick (heart) in hosp.
It wasn’t rocket science to work out that the Christian couple were stitched up from the get go.

Well, we all missed the great event. I had no idea it was even an event or a special day.
But it was.  Saturday was Natl. Coming Out Day.  Isn’t that cute?  They have their own flag.  A special colour.  (purple?) and now I learn they have a special day too.  Soon they’ll be pushing to make it another bank holiday to honor them.
Anyway, what happened this time was .....

Sainsbury’s told lesbian couple to stop kissing or leave supermarket after customer complained

Annabelle Sacher said she and girlfriend were told to leave store in Brighton
Claims that she lightly kissed her girlfriend on the cheek while shopping
Security guard said a customer had complained that they were ‘disgusting’
Sainsbury’s has now apologised and donated to charity of couple’s choice

By Neil Sears and Emily Kent Smith

Student Annabelle Sacher was shopping in her local Sainsbury’s when she decided to give her girlfriend a spontaneous peck on the cheek.

One fellow customer, however, didn’t see the ‘light kiss’ as a romantic gesture – and reported the couple to a security guard who allegedly then told them to leave.

The female guard explained that the shopper had complained that the lesbian clinch was ‘disgusting’, and that she was ‘worried for her child’.

Infuriated, the 22-year-old reported the incident to fellow gay rights activists online, declaring that Sainsbury’s was guilty of perpetrating a hate crime and that she had a ‘human right’ to kiss in the supermarket.

The row began on Saturday – which was National Coming Out Day – in a Sainsbury’s in Brighton, a town known for its vibrant gay scene.

In a post on gay rights charity Stonewall’s Facebook page, Miss Sacher said: ‘The security guard later apologised, saying that she herself was gay and had simply been asked to speak to us by another customer who found us “disgusting” and was “worried for her child”.

‘I felt sorry for the guard. However, the fact is that she perpetrated a hate crime on behalf of Sainsbury’s.

‘My partner and myself should not have been made to feel humiliated simply because we were two women. It is our legal and human right to express ourselves and today Sainsbury’s took that right away and made me feel like a lesser human being.’

The English literature student at Sussex University in Brighton added: ‘I am outraged and deeply humiliated by this incident.’

Last night a Sainsbury’s spokesman said that it had made a full apology, promised similar incidents would not happen again and said it had paid money to a charity of Miss Sacher’s choice.

The spokesman denied the security guard had told Miss Sacher to leave, and instead asked her to stop kissing, but apologised for her treatment all the same.

‘This should never have happened – it is clear that she and her partner were not behaving inappropriately and we are very sorry that they were treated in this way,’ the spokesman said.

‘We have called her to apologise and will be making a donation to a charity of her choice.’

Miss Sacher, who is originally from Hampstead Garden Suburb, north London – where she was brought up by her leading lawyer father Jonathan, 59, and estate agent mother Marla, 55, in a £3million house – said she was delighted with the response. She has since made the supermarket one of her ‘favourites’ on Facebook.

Gee, I wonder what charity (?) she had monies donated to. Hmmm. Tuff one.

Fine. Greens, Progs, and other Leftists: Commies At Heart

One from Rich K.

What you already knew, because you are not stupid. You understand “Progressive” and the history of the movement. This puts you many many levels above your typical under 40 slack jawed moron.

They’ve never gone away. They’ve been with us since the Wilson administration. FDR was a Progressive Marxist, and like Obama he was the biggest liar of his generation. Talk about “most transparent administration” - FDR had POLIO and spent most of the time in a wheelchair. Yet the complicit media hid this fact from the public not only during his first election, but from the daily news for more than a decade. His cabinet and his government were chock full of Reds. Outright spies, moles, plants, and major sympathizers.

Thanks to Dick Nixon and his pals, the word got out in the 50s, and the Reds had to run and hide, like roaches when you turn on the kitchen light. But they never left. They just went underground. Like Saul Alinsky, Hillary Clinton’s hero, mentor, and subject of her undergraduate thesis. And who can tell how many of Obama’s cabinet and close associates. Marxism is second banana stuff with that bunch, since so many of them are either tied to Muslim Brotherhood, or Black Liberation Theology, or both. Of course they’re all commies. Socialists who believe in their own small elite group being in generational control, with an all powerful central government keeping a dazed, doped, and dulled robo-citizenry in line. For their own good. If that isn’t within a hair of pure real-world communism I don’t know what is.

So. As Rich K pointed out, this past weekend there were all these “Earth First” rallies all over the country. In NYC nearly half a million benighted souls showed up to march, protest, and make a difference by bandying hashtags around. Oh, and they made a tremendous mess, leaving mountains of litter behind them.
Which is what they always do, because the truth of the matter is, all of this is “scene” shit. It’s “all about me”; look at me being cool! Look at me saving the planet! Look at me being a hipster douche greenie!. Look at me fighting Teh Man, man.

Whatever.

image

How many trendy groups can you belong to at the same time? Ah, if only they did interior design, and made cupcakes. With weed in them.

Here’s a link! Out Of The Climate Closet And Into Your Red Pants

Communists along with a few environmental groups staged a “People’s Climate Rally” in Oakland, California on Sunday, September 21, in conjunction with the larger “People’s Climate March” in New York City on the same day.

Wait — did I say communists? Isn’t that a bit of an exaggeration?

Well…no.

At the New York event, many people noticed that gee, there sure are a lot of communists at this march. But in Oakland — always on the cutting edge — the entire “climate change” movement at last fully, irrevocably and overtly embraced communism as its stated goal. Any concerns about “optics” or operating in “stealth mode” were abandoned.

The “climate change” “crisis” is now nothing but the latest justification for “total revolution” and getting rid of capitalism forever.

Well of course. Some of us figured this out ages and ages ago, at least as far back as the Kyoto Accords. The one and only way this movement will EVER be able to put it’s plans into place, it’s carbon credits, it’s cap and trade, it’s lowered emissions everywhere, etc ... AND BE ABLE TO ENFORCE THEM is to have a universal, one world government. And that’s means communism, aka elitist generational socialism. And to get there they are going to use the UN. This is what has been going on for decades. The Green Thing is just the latest.

Destroy Capitalism. Destroy Consumerism. Destroy America.  Destroy Europe. No nukes, no oil, no coal, and nobody white is allowed to build or burn anything. Funny thing, they never have any problems with the people outside the Rain Forest in South America, anyone non-white anywhere in Africa, they certainly never have problems with anyone pisslamic, and they just love their 4 billion little brown and yellow buddies on the far side of the world. No restrictions on them at all, ever. Gosh, perhaps because half of them are already commies to start with?

getem young or lose em … gay is good and this woman wants to spread the word, to under fives

Some rather odd and funny news from The Fatherland ....

You could never make this up.

Count on the krauts to see a problem and charge straight ahead to fix it.

The headline was almost longer then the short story.

TEEN’S BID TO FIND HIS PHONE CAUSES FLOOD

A German teenager who lost his phone in a pond tried to get it back by draining the the water and pumping it into a nearby toilet.
However ... it caused major damage when the pond water flooded the toilet’s watertank and sent sewage into a nearby fishing club.

Meanwhile across the channel here in the UK .... the Prime Minister, “Call me Dave” Cameron, is calling for a change in NATO responsibility.  He wants to introduce
a range of cold war style deterrents against potential Russian military aggression in Eastern and Central Europe.  He wants NATO armed forces in areas “vulnerable to attack,” among other items of military concern, weapons and and ammo and ration packs in countries that feel threatened. He also wants to beef up Nato’s East European HQ in Poland to be able to respond to any Russian threat.

Ok I know I’ve been very much outta the loop lately, but where besides the Ukraine have the Russians been making eyes at?

Call Me Dave as I recall, very much would have liked to send troops to Libya when rebels were trying to oust Gaddafi, but his request was voted down in an embarrassing defeat for him, and a lucky break for the Brit Tommy, and his and her country.

And finally … for your insights into this gross idea is invited and I can almost hear ya now.
This is what the cultures of our countries have either become or else are headed towards.  Here’s just one quote.

I think the next step is about going into preschools. We need to encourage [under-fives]

Under 5s? Sure thing. Start the indoctrination early or you won’t get em all.
Good Grief!
What a fracked up world.

New Stonewall chief Ruth Hunt: Teach preschool children to celebrate being gay
By Emily Dugan

Preschool children should be taught about gay relationships to combat future homophobia in society, the new chief executive of Stonewall has told The Independent.

image

In an exclusive interview, Ruth Hunt said that she wants the gay rights charity to commission books “celebrating difference in all its forms for under-fives”.
The initiative is part of the organisation’s commitment to tackling homophobia in schools, which has the backing of the new Education Secretary. “Nicky Morgan wrote to me this week saying she was very keen to tackle homophobic bullying in schools, and there’s a very real commitment to shifting attitudes in schools,” said Ms Hunt.

“I think the next step is about going into preschools. We need to encourage [under-fives] to think about different families. Loads of kids these days have two mums or two dads – or at least gay uncles and aunts.”

Ms Hunt says the Coalition has been very supportive of the charity’s work with children, which has included sending a film into every primary school celebrating same-sex-parent families. Explaining her own vision for curbing homophobia among future generations, Ms Hunt said: “I think the next step is about going into preschools. I know from all my godchildren that the quality of children’s books depicting difference is dire.

“I really want to commission – and this is something we’ve got to talk about as an organisation – a suite of books that celebrates difference in all its forms for under-fives. With different families in it but also mixed-race people and sent into every preschool setting. That will take time too. But that is possibly one of the most radical campaigns we could do.

The charity has only three international staff at present, but Ms Hunt says they will probably be expanding their international team “because the demand is so high that we’re turning countries away at the moment”.

bakery may face court for refusal to decorate a cake promoting queer marriage

Notice please the charge made, namely that the bakery refused the order based on the fact that the customer was queer.
But that is not so at all.

The way I first heard the story was . . .

The customer wanted a slogan on the cake that said “Support Gay Marriage” and the bakery refused to do that.  End of story. Or it would have been if the bakery were muslim owned. But no.
It’s apparently still open season on Christians.

The bakery did not want any part of a gay rights campaign. They’d sell em the cake sure nuff, but wouldn’t add the words encouraging goofy marriage.  But you all know how these things go.  Indeed, how they start.  It’s always a pressure group that targets ppl they know in advance will be in opposition to them and so, bingo!  A cause and a legal case.

Being Ireland, I’m surprised that no gunmen have settled the pressure group’s hash by now.

Maybe there’s hope tho.

Ashers Baking Company: ‘Gay cake’ row could end up in court

A Christian-run bakery that refused a customer’s request to make a cake with a slogan supporting gay marriage could face a discrimination case in court.

Ashers Baking Company declined an order from a gay rights activist, asking for cake featuring the Sesame Street puppets, Bert and Ernie.

The customer also wanted the cake to feature the logo of a Belfast-based campaign group called “Queerspace”.

The County Antrim firm could face legal action from the Equality Commission.

The watchdog confirmed it is assisting the customer whose order was refused and has written to the baking company on his behalf.

The cake was ordered for a civic event in Bangor Castle Town Hall, County Down, to mark International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.
Christian beliefs

The bakery, which was founded in Newtownabbey in 1992, is run by the McArthur family.

The directors, who are Christians, operate six shops in Northern Ireland and employ 62 people.

The firm’s 24-year-old general manager, Daniel McArthur, said marriage in Northern Ireland “still is defined as being a union between one man and one woman” and said his company was taking “a stand”.

Mr McArthur added that his firm offered the customer a full refund, which was collected shortly after the order was refused.

“We thought that was the end of it, but approximately six weeks later we received a letter from the Equality Commission. The Equality Commission’s letter said that we had discriminated against the customer on the grounds of his sexual orientation.

“It asked us to propose how we would recompense the customer for this discrimination. It also said it would pursue legal proceedings if we didn’t respond within a seven-day time period,” Mr McArthur said.

Teh Ghey Is All That Matters

Liberal groups angry with order to teach Constitution

The South Carolina legislature has rankled liberal groups after requiring that a pair of public schools use state funds to teach the U.S. Constitution and other founding documents—on the heels of a budget fight over gay-themed books in the curriculum.

State House lawmakers previously had cut funds from two public universities in retaliation for required-reading material containing homosexual themes. A revised budget passed by both the House and the Senate earlier this month, though, restored the money—but dictated that exact amount be spent “for instruction in the provisions and principles of the United States Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist Papers, including the study of and devotion to American institutions and ideals.”

The bill restored at least $52,000 for the College of Charleston, and at least $17,000 for USC-Upstate, which were the original amounts cut back in March. The legislation also says that any school that conducts a mandatory reading program must provide an alternative in case the chosen book conflicts with any students’ moral or religious beliefs.

The National Coalition Against Censorship, ACLU of South Carolina and other groups said in a statement earlier this week that the new bill is a “symbolic penalty” that is just as troubling as the House’s original proposal.

“It represents unwarranted political interference with academic freedom and undermines the integrity of the higher education system in South Carolina,” the groups said.

The College of Charleston did not respond to a request for comment from FoxNews.com, but the school’s president said when the cuts were first proposed that the school has the right to introduce controversial ideas to students.

The fight arose after the schools required some students to read novels with gay themes.

The College of Charleston’s program selects one book a year for the entire campus to read, which this year was Alison Bechdel’s “Fun Home,” a memoir about the author growing up as a lesbian in rural Pennsylvania. USC-Upstate’s program has first-year writing students all read the same book, which this year was “Out Loud: The Best of Rainbow Radio,” a compilation of stories shared on South Carolina’s first radio station for gays and lesbians.

Riight. So forcing all the students to read some homosexual diatribe is fine, but being forced by the state to have the students read the fundamental documents that make America - part of what we used to call Civics, I guess - is such terrible oppression?

What a load of monkey poo.

Yes, I know that being “out” is totally “in”. They’re queer, they’ve been here, we’re more than used to it. I doubt if you could find very many folks on the West Coast, in the Northeast, or in any area that gets significant snow, and who live within an hour’s drive of a real city, who haven’t already accepted that some people live alternate lifestyles. We know. We don’t care, and we’re tired of hearing about it. So shut up already.

And I also know that out there in “Jesusland” there are those who are willfully blind and terribly intolerant. But I ask you: is that blindness not their right?

Indentured servitude ordered by unelected gov’t ‘officials’.

Baker forced to make gay wedding cakes, undergo sensitivity training, after losing lawsuit

A family owned bakery has been ordered to make wedding cakes for gay couples and guarantee that its staff be given comprehensive training on Colorado’s anti-discrimination laws after the state’s Civil Rights Commission determined the Christian baker violated the law by refusing to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.

Jack Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, in Lakewood, Colorado was directed to change his store policies immediately and force his staff to attend the training sessions. For the next two years, Phillips will also be required to submit quarterly reports to the commission to confirm that he has not turned away customers based on their sexual orientation.

Sounds like a violation of the 13th Amendment:

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.[1]

Refusing to bake a cake for homosexuals based on your religious beliefs is NOT a crime:

“We consider this reporting to be aimed at rehabilitating Jack so that he has the right thoughts,” Martin said. “That’s offensive to everything America stands for.”

Phillips, who is celebrating his 40th year in business this week, told me he’s not going to create any new policies.

“My old ones are pretty adequate as far as I’m concerned,” he said. “I don’t plan on giving up my faith and changing because of that.”

The controversy started in 2012 when a gay couple asked Phillips to make their wedding cake. Phillips politely declined, saying he could not make a cake promoting a same-sex ceremony because of his faith. He offered to make them any other baked item they wanted.

Charlie Craig and David Mullins filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Commission alleging they were discriminated against because of their sexual orientation. For the record, same-sex marriage is against the law in Colorado.

The commission affirmed a civil court’s ruling that the bakery cannot discriminate against persons in a public place based on sexual orientation.

“You can have your beliefs, but you can’t hurt other people at the same time,” Commission Chairwoman Katina Banks told The Denver Channel.

ACLU attorney Amanda Goad, who heads up the organization’s LBGT group, heralded the ruling.

“Religious freedom is undoubtedly an important American value, but so is the right to be treated equally under the law free from discrimination,” she said in a statement.

No, my dear. Religious freedom is a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.

Not only that, but you have the right to decide WHO you will make your artistic, or any skills, available to. Anything else is a violation of the 13th Amendments banning of involuntary servitude.

Not aware that a ‘commission’ is a court either. Never voted for anyone on a ‘commission’.

BTW, we have a RIGHT to discriminate!

Can’t Touch This

A different sort of Hammer Time

Oh oh ooh oh oh. Can’t touch this!

Here We Go! Miami Safety Fined For anti-Sam Tweet

Free speech? What the hell is that? The right to express your opinions in public without punishment? Are you kidding me??

Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones was fined an undisclosed amount Sunday and will undergo educational training after sending a negative tweet about Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be selected in the NFL draft.

Shortly after the St. Louis Rams took Sam in the seventh round Saturday, Jones tweeted “OMG” and “Horrible.” The tweets were taken down a short time later.

Jones apologized for his comments Sunday and described them as inappropriate. The Dolphins said Jones has been excused from all team activities until he completes training related to his comments.

Send that horrible person off to re-education Camp Ayers. ASAP.

“We were disappointed to read Don’s tweets,” coach Joe Philbin said in a statement. “They were inappropriate and unacceptable, and we regret the negative impact these comments had on such an important weekend for the NFL. We met with Don today about respect, discrimination and judgment. These comments are not consistent with the values and standards of our program.”

The Dolphins reacted swiftly to Jones’ comments in the wake of the team’s bullying scandal last year, which embarrassed the NFL and prompted a nationwide debate about workplace harassment.

Jones said he regretted that his tweets took away from Sam’s “draft moment.”

I wonder ... since this guys performance at the pro level is barely marginal at this point ... will criticizing him now be a hate crime? I gonna laff my ass of if it is; WTF, no white person can criticize a black person’s job performance regardless of profession, without automatically being a raycis. I can’t wait until all the black pro athletes start getting fined up and down for criticizing this guy. Who is also black. And whose numbers aren’t that great yet. But he’s gaaaaay. Gay gay gaaaay!  Now all of them will have to find out what life is like under PC, because for the most part they’ve been given a pass so far. But gay. Gay!! And thus the only people allowed to question his relevance ... will be black muslims. Hey, check it out, Lois Farrakhan is now doing the play by play on Monday Night Football!! As if.

late night tea time

Up again in the middle of the night. Wide awake. I don’t know why. Can’t get back to sleep. Ok, check the house; fine. Visit the bathroom. Fine. Mugga tea? Sure, why not; it seems PG Tips is my go-to at 3am. Mmm, it smells so good.

Ok, so what’s happening out there in the middle of the night here??

Let’s start things off with a BANG, or at least a smash:

image2014 IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis Starts with Huge Crash
It took only seconds for pole-sitter Sebastian Saavedra’s dreams to go up in smoke at the 2014 IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday.

When the green flag dropped, Saavedra stalled at the starting line. As a result, opposing drivers were forced to work around the 23-year-old Colombian. Carlos Munoz couldn’t react quickly enough, making contact with Saavedra and setting off a scary chain of events. Mikhail Aleshin also rear-ended Saavedra, compounding his bad luck.

Debris went flying all over the track.

The collateral damage wasn’t limited to the drivers, though. John Tuohy of The Indianapolis Star reported that Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard was struck by debris as he waved the green flag. Mayoral spokesman Marc Lotter said that Ballard had been hit in the elbow, but the injury wasn’t considered serious.

I had to go and stare at my calendar after reading this one. Indy, today?? WT ... ? I even checked the internet ... nope, Memorial Day isn’t until the end of the month. It wasn’t until I was on my second read through that I noticed that this was the “IndyCar Grand Prix” not the Indy 500. riiight, because they had that big fight and split up a couple years ago, remember?  Amazingly nobody was really hurt. Bet it took them a while to sweep the track clean though.

speaking of bangs and smashes ...

Texas man arrested for suspected premarital sex with 16-year-old wife
The marriage may be legal but the suspected premarital sex was not, authorities said on Saturday after arresting a 41-year-old Houston-area drama teacher for the alleged sexual assault of a child, his 16-year-old wife.

Ilich Guardiola, who also works as a voice actor in Japanese animations, was pulled over in a traffic stop in the Houston suburb of Spring Valley last month and later questioned about his relationship with the teen riding with him, police said.

Shortly after the incident, Guardiola married the teenager, who has not been identified, in Las Vegas with the approval of her mother, who witnessed the wedding.

Police said there is circumstantial evidence that the two engaged in a sexual relationship prior to legal marriage.

“The marriage is absolutely legal. We received a copy of the marriage certificate,” said Gary Finkelman of the Spring Valley Police Department.

Guardiola was arrested on Thursday at his Houston-area apartment for violating a Texas law that forbids sex with a child, regardless of the child’s consent. A child is defined as a person under 17 years of age.

Guardiola’ bail has been set at $50,000 and no lawyer has been listed as representing him, according to his arrest record.

Really Texas? Seriously? Intolerant bunch of Christo-fascists, or what? And “circumstantial evidence”? More seriously? What’d ya do, go rooting around in the dumpster for some used rubbers? Pathetic. I mean, look at this story: the guy gets pulled over, but “later” he’s questioned about his relationship? Why, did they drag him off to pedo-jail immediately?

Actually I think this is a lose-lose case for Texas. If the guy had been abducting the under age girl, and the cop hadn’t questioned him (or arrested him on general principle) and he had been a kidnapping pedo, then they would have been in 11 kinds of hot water. Instead, he’s hassling a guy apparently on his way to getting married in Vegas?

Ok, the dude probably is a pedo. Or one of these frightening western religious creeps, with 32 children and all the wives have to wear long gingham dresses and clomp-along shoes, and the homestead has never seen a gallon of paint or a bottle of Windex. Or both. 41 yo teacher, 16 yo bride? Texas creepy.
PS - if she’s old enough to get married, and does so with free will and parental consent, then shouldn’t ALL those “minor laws” go out the window? And we have to treat her as an adult, an “emancipated minor”? So let’s see her picture. Because I want to see what color gingham the bride wore.
hmmm - if the story seems strange, it’s always best to look for other sources ... nope, this one is also misleading, but in a different way.

Exit, pursued by a cop. A Houston-area drama teacher is retreating from the limelight in handcuffs after cops discovered he had married a 16-year-old girl in Las Vegas. Illich Auyapah Guardiola, 41, had made a name for himself as an English-language voice actor in Japanese anime films. But he aroused suspicions when he was caught in a car with the teenage girl during a a traffic violation stop in April.

Spring Valley Village police soon found out that Honduras-born Guardiola was a teacher who worked at several local acting schools and theaters. The teenager was one of his students at the Houston Family Arts Center, Click2Houston reports. An investigation into the illicit relationship revealed that the teacher had thoroughly seduced his underage victim. Court documents show that the teen sent a number of text messages to the older man, including one that read, “I love having sex with you.”

Maybe Texas, maybe all states should take a step back and compare their age of consent laws with their age of marriage laws. It would be pretty stupid if they didn’t line up.

I’m going back to bed:
:eyeroll: :eyeroll: innuendo much??You’re a Ram, baby Obama is just so proud and excited that one of his peoples got drafted. No wait, Obama is just so proud and excited that Michael Sam was drafted by the Rams, making him the first openly gay guy in pro football.

With the 249th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams made history and selected Sam.

Sam was a consensus All-American and the Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Missouri.

That good, and yet he was 249th of 256? Sounds like there is still some resistance to the big gay push in football. Reeducation training camps, here we come!

President Barack Obama congratulated Michael Sam on Saturday for being the first openly gay football player taken in the National Football League draft, the White House said in a statement.

“From the playing field to the corporate boardroom, LGBT Americans prove everyday that you should be judged by what you do and not who you are,” Obama said. He also congratulated the NFL and the St. Louis Rams, the team that drafted Sam.

Sam, an All-American defensive end who played for the University of Missouri, made history when he was picked by the Rams in the seventh and final round. He was the 249th of 256 players selected.

The 24-year-old got the news by telephone from Rams’ coach Jeff Fisher, who told Sam: “You are a Ram. The wait is finally over.”

Are we ever going to run out of bullshit “firsts” for every damn group to pat themselves on the head for? Isn’t just a little tiresome at this point? Frankly, if I were Sam (if Sam I am?) I’d be rather humiliated to get that call. Oh, it doesn’t matter that he trained and practiced his whole life to make it to the pros. Doesn’t matter that he starred in college ball, made All-American, and even Player of the Year. Nope. All that matters is that he kisses boyz.

I ain’t going here either, because YOU KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN:

Austrian bearded drag queen wins Eurovision song contest
Copenhagen (AFP) - Austria won this year’s Eurovision Song Contest early Sunday with “Rise Like a Phoenix” sung by bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst.

The 25-year-old performer, whose real name is Tom Neuwirth, took the Eurovision crown in Copenhagen despite initial expectations that the eye-catching performance would be too controversial in socially conservative countries.

“We are unity, and we are unstoppable,” she said after winning the glitzy competition with 290 points compared with 238 points for runner-up the Netherlands, in what Eurovision fans had anticipated would be a more closely fought race.

Since the contest was launched in 1956, voting has often been tied to politics and the 2014 event was no exception, with the audience jeering countries that announced giving points to Russia.

Yup, that’s our superior cousins over in Europe, being all sophisticated and all. The talent show is all about national politics, screw the talent. Unless the talent has a whole deck of Cards to play. Like gay Jesus here. Unity. Oh gag me. Like a phoenix. Torched for the very first time. Like a pee-eee-ee-nis. Oops, sorry, I meant fee-eee-ee-nix. Feel your heartbeat, next to mine.
